Britton is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with BS degrees in chemistry and psychology. He spent four years working in patient care at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital where he kept his unit organized and running smoothly as well as provided therapeutic skills education for patients. Now, he is working on building his technical laboratory and organizational skillset as the manager of the Iyer Lab before pursuing further education in the medical sciences, aiming to eventually implement cellular engineering practices in patient-centered care.
In his free time, Britton is an avid enjoyer of watching and analyzing film and television, taking care of his cat and houseplants, and going on long walks through Pittsburgh's nature rich areas.
